THIS QUESTION CAN SAVE YOUR DAY

How often we are so stuck in some negative feelings – be it disappointment, anger, sadness, resentment, etc, – and we believe that only someone from outside, or some super-duper cool technique will heal us? They definitely can, but ultimately all the resources already are within us.

The other day I got caught up in thinking about how a certain person treated me. It was very business-like relationship with her and I had never even met her alive. I felt treated unfairly. In a very short time span I came up with the worst possible scenario for our first alive encounter (if that would ever happen). I imagined how she would say something to me and I would lash out in justified rage – because, no doubt, I was right in this case.

Nothing of that had happened yet, most likely it never would, but the anger and upset I experienced, was so real…

I was restless, sat at the table and noticed few notes there. Among them was a question Matt Kahn had asked in one of his talks. The question was:

‘’How Can I Harmonize With This Feeling?’’

So there I was, boiling in anger, closed my eyes and asked this question. ‘How Can I harmonize with this anger?’

Initially the only answer was: breathe. That’s what I was doing for a while – just noticing my in-breath and out-breath. Just breathe… I started to yawn a lot and by paying attention to my breath I suddenly noticed that I had calmed down. That’s all that was required for a shift to happen. One simple question.

The thing was – I was willing to listen to the answers to that question. Answers that would not necessarily come from Ascending Angels, but answers from my own body.

I will cherish that simple question. I will ask it whenever I experience something I don’t like. Pushing away and repressing is never an answer. Well, not the one that works anyway. Escaping and avoiding is not an answer either. Willing to be in harmony with whatever arises, is. Breathing deeply is. Listening to the body is.

Try it out yourself!
